Welcome to the Royal Grand Opera House. You've taken a job as an actor, lighting, sound, or crew. You've also taken on the 'extra duties' stipend.
Sometimes other theatres send spies and saboteurs. Sometimes there are ghosts. Sometimes the Morlocks come from the labrynthine basement levels. It's your job to stop them.
But you need to get back for your cues.
After character creation, this game happens in real time where you're trying to keep the Opera House safe but also get back to your place to do your cue. There will be desperate scrambling as you fight off a morlock while trying to lower a set piece from the fly rail.
