The Quiet Year is a map game. You define the struggles of a post-apocalyptic community, and attempt to build something good within their quiet year. Every decision and every action is set against a backdrop of dwindling time and rising concern.
For those unfamiliar with TQY;
-You don't have to be an artist (I am not by a long shot)
-The game takes about an hour or two to play (highly modifiable)
-We as a collective build a community and the environment they must endure over the course of about 1 year (1 week is 1 player turn)
-Your turn is draw a card, make a choice of said card, then explore something new with the society and surrounding area.
-It may seem too simple from the description but it is up to you to fill in the blanks of our society.
