Heart of Darkness is a role-playing game of Gothic Fantasy.
A small frontier town stands alone on the edge of the vast wilderness. A mysterious power encroaches, tainting the land and stealing away people in the night. The defenseless townsfolk call out in terror, their desperation drawing heroes, glory seekers, treasure hunters, and those with more sinister motives. Which one are you?
This is an introductory adventure for a brand new tabletop RPG system which combines elements of Sword and Sorcery, Greek epics, Arthurian romance, Westerns, and Gothic Horror.
This is a character driven system that encourages narrative control through in-character action and allows tremendous mechanical freedom rather than defined roles. Action is fast and strategic with long lasting consequences.
Quick start rules and pre-generated characters will be provided.
